01

Information we collect

When you contact the campaign, volunteer, submit a media enquiry or make another website submission, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, location, area of interest, availability, subject and message.

When you subscribe to campaign updates, we collect the email address you submit and record that you requested Weah 2029 communications. If you unsubscribe, a corresponding unsubscribe request is recorded so future campaign distribution can respect that choice.

  • Contact and volunteer information you provide directly.
  • Newsletter subscription and unsubscribe requests.
  • The date, type and status of a campaign submission.
  • Limited technical information processed by hosting and security infrastructure as necessary to deliver and protect the website.
02

How information is used

Information submitted through this website is used to respond to enquiries, route volunteer or public-engagement requests, provide requested campaign communications, operate the website and protect it from abuse.

  • Respond to campaign, media, volunteer and event enquiries.
  • Route volunteer interest according to location, skills, availability and participation preference.
  • Send official campaign updates where a person has subscribed and stop those communications after a valid unsubscribe request.
  • Maintain an operational record of incoming correspondence.
  • Detect spam, misuse and security threats.
  • Meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
03

Analytics, cookies and technical logs

The website uses privacy-conscious first-party interaction measurement to understand aggregate activity such as page views and major campaign actions. The analytics endpoint records event names and page paths only; it is designed not to record names, email addresses, telephone numbers, message content or persistent user identifiers.

The current website does not intentionally deploy advertising trackers or behavioural-profiling cookies. Hosting, content delivery and security providers may process routine technical information such as request metadata, device/browser information and network logs in order to deliver and secure the service.

04

Sharing and service providers

Personal information is not sold to advertisers. Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, data storage, security and campaign communications, or disclosed where required by applicable law or a lawful process.

Access to campaign correspondence is limited to people who require it for legitimate campaign operations.

05

Campaign communications and opting out

A newsletter subscription is a request to receive Weah 2029 campaign communications. You may stop those communications at any time through the unsubscribe page or by contacting the campaign through the Contact page.

06

Retention and security

Campaign submissions are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, legitimate campaign administration, record-keeping and applicable legal obligations.

The platform uses server-side data access, request validation, same-origin checks, anti-spam fields, rate controls, security headers and controlled publishing infrastructure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so access and security practices are reviewed as campaign operations change.

07

External websites and embedded services

The platform links to official institutions, source documents, social platforms and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. A link from Weah 2029 does not transfer control of those services to the campaign.

08

Your requests and policy updates

You may contact the campaign to ask about information you submitted through this website, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate and legally permissible.

This policy may be updated as campaign operations, technology or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date. See also our Terms of Use, Accessibility Statement and Campaign Information & Disclosures.
