Programme: Fish Town–Harper Road Project
The Fish Town–Harper programme was approved in 2013, before the Weah administration. During President Weah's term, implementation continued and the African Development Fund approved US$12.13 million in additional financing from project savings in February 2022. The African Development Bank said the additional activities included upgrading about 11.5 kilometres of road and supporting women and youth associations to promote local products. The wider Bank-financed works formed part of a 160.5-kilometre stretch along the 510-kilometre Ganta-to-Harper corridor. This record therefore documents continued implementation and additional financing during 2022 rather than attributing origination of the project to the administration.
